3 Key Solution Steps: Account Freezing

​To successfully request the freezing of a scammer's account, follow these three procedural steps in sequence:

  • Report to the Bank (Emergency Action)
    • Action: Contact your bank's Call Center immediately.
    • ​Goal: Provide official notification that the transaction you performed was fraudulent.

  • Police Report (Legal Basis for Blocking)
    • ​Action: Go to the nearest police station and file an official Police Report (LP).
    • ​Goal: Obtain an Official Police Report Certificate. This document is mandatory to initiate the blocking process.

  • Account Freezing via IASC/OJK
    • Action: Use the IASC/OJK platform (including the Investment Alert Task Force - SWI) and submit your report, attaching a copy of the Police Report from Step 2.
    • ​Goal: IASC will forward the account freezing request to the scammer's destination bank with strong legal basis.

Protect Yourself: Always verify the destination account, be suspicious of unreasonable promises or prizes, and remember: no bank or authority will ever ask for your password or PIN.
